- Minimum circumscribed circle: MCCI diameter
Click on any number of points on the periphery of the object to be measured.
Clicking with the right mouse button completes the measurement and draws
the minimum circumscribed circle.
- Maximum inscribed circle: MICI diameter
Click on any number of points on the periphery of the object to be measured.
Clicking with the right mouse button completes the measurement and draws
the maximum circumscribed circle.
- Least square circle: LSCI diameter
This function uses the Gauss method to calculate the least square circle.
Click on any number of points on the periphery of the object to be measured.
Clicking with the right mouse button completes the measurement and draws
the least square circle.
- Gauss method for geometrical tolerance:
This function first uses the Gauss method to calculate the least square circle
and then determines the geometrical tolerance as the largest distance of a
measurement point from the least square circle. Click on any number of points
on the periphery of the object to be measured. Clicking with the right mouse
button completes the measurement and draws the least square circle.
The geometrical tolerance is displayed in the current unit of measurement in
the results field.
- Tschebycheff method for geometrical tolerance:
This function first uses the Tschebycheff method to calculate the least square
circle and then determines the geometrical tolerance as the largest distance
of a measuring point from the least square circle. Click on any number of points
on the periphery of the object to be measured. Clicking with the right mouse
button completes the measurement and draws the least square circle. The
geometrical tolerance is displayed in the current unit of measurement in the
results field.
