The thread is presented in transmitted light and has a focussed  shadow.

For these measurements the parallel under lights (ordering number 

CV-PPL green or blue)  are mandatory.

Level the thread hoizontally, an exact adjustment

along the x-axis is not necessary, possible deviations

will be corrected  automatically.

Here too, the part of the thread to be measured is defined by a polygon.

The polygon is constructed marked as an object and now active as a frame for

the following thread measurement.

Start the automatic flank diameter measuring.

During the progress bar is faded in, the program calculates the parameters and displays  the values in the image, in the following order:

- flank diameter

- outer diameter

- root diameter

- pitch

The flank diameter  can also be determined at any part of the pitch, in this

case it is sufficient just to activate the function "flank diameter automatic".
