According to the chosen objects, the following results are produced by the function "Distance“ :

       

                       1.        Distance point to point

                       2.        Distance circle to circle

                       3.        Distance point to line

The terms correspond to the standard measure functions of the program and will so be entered into 

the table. Measure values not belonging to the MT functions, as for example „Distance point to line“, 

will be notified in the measure value –  and excel- table but not in the "Construct object" window.

                                               

For these two constructions, the result is a point to point measurement.

A point and a circle are marked.

 

   

Two circles make a circle to circle measurement.

 

With these constructions the result is a „point to line“ measurement.

A point and a multi point line are marked.

A circle and a multi point line are marked.
