The distance point to point is constructed from the objects “Point” and “Multi point 

line”.

Therefore, starting from the point, a new line is drawn vertical to the marked line,

whereat the constructed line has the same length as the marked one.

Black/white example:

Point 1 and multi point line 2  produce a short line .

Yellow/blue example: 

Point 3 and multi point line 4 produce a line , intersecting

multi point line 4. The measure values correspond.
