The IBR modules allow sensor signals from different manufacturers to be evaluated via a standard interface. The conversion of the signals takes place in the hardware modules and the values are then sent to the computer.

All standard signals (such as 1 Vss, 4 to 20 mA or TTL) can be evaluated using standard modules from IBR. Special versions can be made available on agreement.

Supported hardware manufacturers include:

               Mitutoyo with the Digimatic spindles

               Sylvac with the measuring screws

               Nikon measurement microscope

Measurement program MT only evaluates IBR modules.  Measurement program MT automatically recognises if IBR modules are present and evaluates them. Even if the modules are connected or changed later on there is no need to make any change to the measurement software.
